Hi, I'm Barb!

I'm a catalyst for positive change and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, CHEF* Coach, and the owner of Bold Step Health.

I have known the value of health my entire life. I grew up witnessing the impact of chronic disease on the individual and the family. Having support system made all the difference and inspired me to pay forward that support in a 25-plus-year career in training and organizational development across various corporate, government, and volunteer sectors. In 2019 I found myself longing for a way to combine my passions for health and wellness, advocating for others, and educating for empowerment into a new career. I embarked on the journey to become a certified health coach, and launched Bold Step Health.

I bring to coaching a diverse background in training and leadership development, program management, and culinary coaching. Grounded in the belief that everyone brings value, my compassionate coaching style empowers others to build the habits for the life they want to live -- leveraging individual strengths for personal growth!

I split my time between Easton and Hagerstown, Maryland. When I’m not coaching, you will find me being creative in the kitchen, learning something new, taking a walk, or spending time with my husband and rescue cat.
